    Lynn Arters LMFT
    Lead Therapist

    Lynn Arters is a therapist specializing in individual, couples and family therapy, and maintains a private practice in Sarasota, FL. She was born and raised in Massachusetts.

    Lynn received her master's degree from Capella University in 2017 and is currently working on her doctorate degree.  She has practiced in Sarasota for eight years. Lynn entered the Doctoral Degree program in at Capella University in 2024 and anticipates to complete it in 2026.

    Lynn has spent her life working in the non-profit sector helping youth and families develop strong bonds and moral character.  As a Systemic Therapist, she is committed to helping families achieve their desired outcomes in a compassionate, non-judgmental atmosphere.  Lynn has extensive experience working with teenagers and families and previously worked at a residential psychiatric facility for children aged 5-17.  Currently she practices privately at her office conveniently located in downtown Sarasota.

    Ashley Whitehead

    Ashley M. Whitehead, BHSA, MFT is a Marriage and Family Therapist completing her Masters clinical hours at Capella University. Ashley holds a Bachelors degree in health services and has worked in the healthcare field for over 6 years. She enjoys working with individuals, couples (marital and premarital), families, and teens in a wide variety of ages. Ashley addresses concerns of anxiety, depression, family conflict, life coaching and transitioning, with an emphasis in women’s issues, postpartum, and infertility. She has training in positive psychology and works from a systemic, solution-focused based approach along with real life experience. Expect for your sessions to be a space of healing, collaborating solutions, and creating your desired future. Together we can help you identify strengths, make achievable goals, and work towards building healthy relationships.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Florida in 1997 and brings over 28 years of experience working and volunteering with children and adolescents.

    Kristen is passionate about supporting individuals, couples, and teens as they navigate the challenges of life. Whether addressing relationship dynamics, parenting concerns, or personal growth, she creates a compassionate and nonjudgmental space for clients to explore and heal. Kristen believes in the power of connection and collaboration in the therapeutic process and is honored to walk alongside her clients on their journey toward greater emotional well-being.
